The formal version
PS Teas is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
What that means in practice
- Outbound product links carry our Amazon Associates tag and are marked
rel="sponsored nofollow". - If you buy after clicking, Amazon pays us a small percentage. The price you pay is identical either way.
- Where a product has not yet been matched to a specific Amazon listing, the link goes to a tagged Amazon search rather than a guessed product page — a wrong product id is worse for you than an extra click.
What it does not change
- Scores are assigned before an affiliate link is attached.
- No brand pays for a review, sees a score in advance, or has any editorial input.
- We publish negative conclusions. A review that cannot say “do not buy this” is advertising.
- Roundups are ordered by our argument, not by commission rate — which is uniform across these categories anyway.
Prices
We do not display live prices. Amazon pricing changes constantly and a stale price on a review page is worse than no price at all, so we link to the current listing instead and describe value in relative terms.
